Bringing glass-hearted-alt-country-soundscapes to life through layers of Indie sparkled alt-country rock... After a chance meeting between Anthony Allcock (drums) and John Leonard (Vocals / Guitar) in early 2006, Woody was formed with the concept of playing music they loved and wanted hear (not the dirge their former bands wanted to play). Quickly joined by Adam Fuller (bass), Paul Robinson (Keys) and JJ Squires (atmospherics), they started to craft and hone their musical influences into woody sounds. Currently, they're in their own studio space (the 'woody room) writing, rehearsing and recording new material to take on the road. With a string of successful live shows already under their belt (plus confirmed european dates for 2007) and an EP released by Roscoe Records, they are now looking for a permanent label to settle down with to record / release their debut album.
