The Smokin' jackets are a Colchester based band available for weddings, private & corporate Functions.They cater for a wide age range with variety of different material, are smart, reliable and professional. They do not use pre-recorded backings or midifiles, they actually play their instruments. Quite rare these days! The Smokin' jackets feature drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals and have a self-contained DJ function and can meet any requirement (given sufficient notice). They also have a high quality sound system and have their own lighting rig. Finally they wWill learn songs to play at the wedding or function as required (given sufficient notice).

The Jonathan Wyatt Big Band is hailed as East Anglia’s premier big band. Established by Jonathan in 1987, the band is ever popular. The band aims to ‘capture the sound of the big band era’ and with seventeen musicians, plus vocalists, it certainly does. The band has an extensive library including numbers made famous by the bands of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Count Basie, to name a few. The vocalists, who perform with the band, enthrall audiences with classic Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald and Judy Garland numbers. As a band leader Jonathan takes pride in the versatility of the band which has performed at a wide range of venues such as theatres (including a Royal Gala Performance), for National Trust open air events and at private functions.
