The Vintage Corporation is the ultimate ‘60s and ‘70s, uniquely versatile Top Class 9-piece live band. Ideal for all your private parties, functions, charity balls, corporate events, private parties, award ceremonies, weddings, fundraising events, Xmas parties, office parties, annual celebrations or any other type of event.
We organise a lot of our own gigs and in keeping with the traditions from a bygone age of true musicianship, we play songs from our extensive back catalogue of popular covers, carefully selected motown, disco, soul, rock and pop. Staged totally live with no miming or drum machines. Refreshing, eh?
We encourage 60’s and 70’s fancy dress at our dances in order to create a fantastic retro ambience and the perfect night out.

The Smokin' jackets are a Colchester based band available for weddings, private & corporate Functions.They cater for a wide age range with variety of different material, are smart, reliable and professional. They do not use pre-recorded backings or midifiles, they actually play their instruments. Quite rare these days! The Smokin' jackets feature drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals and have a self-contained DJ function and can meet any requirement (given sufficient notice). Apache Show Band
recognized by The Stage Newspaper as “The finest 50s showgroup in Europe”.
The 1959 hit “Apache” became our trademark and complete with the famous “Shadows Walk”
If asked about our musical influences each member will have their own individual artistes to quote but ultimately the biggest influence on the group was the 1979 movie The Buddy Holly Story.
Of course it wasn’t just because we were dressed in such flamboyant style that attracted the crowds but the mix of music and the way in which we were playing were other factors, at the time we were the only true rock and roll band in Kent, these days thanks to the nostalgia revival there are many dozens of similar bands working the circuit, but we were amongst the first specialist tribute bands.

The Swinging Little Big Band play a mixture of Sinatra and Rat Pack covers all specially adapted to deliver the exuberance of the original big band arrangements with the tight punch of a 6-piece group. But what sets this band apart are their stunning swing versions of of modern pop and rock songs: The Rolling Stones' 'Paint it Black' done salsa style; a blistering swing take on Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' and even Radiohead's 'Creep' made to sound like it was made for a Vegas casino!
Predominantly a 6-piece (vocals, sax, keyboards, guitar, bass & drums), the band also offers a set of background jazz standards as a trio (sax, keyboards and double bass) during drinks or dinner.

Jacks Back
Jacks Back is a four piece rock/blues band based in Kent.The band officially formed in January 2008 and immediately became the house band at the Priory Tavern in Orpington, hosting the Monday night open mic session. It’s a band that’s been a long time in the making. Chris and Steve and Richard have been working on projects together with other artists for the past 2 years while Matt has been sessioning for local bands in Orpington. The idea of forming Jacks Back came after the guys all worked together performing at charity events in the run up to Christmas 2007. Their influences range from a huge ensemble of blues masters right through to rock guru’s like Pink Floyd and Queen, then throwing in a dash of the more modern such as the Foo Fighters and The Goo Goo Dolls.

the runaways
The Runaways were formed in 1982 with Gary Bryant on lead guitar, Tim Adams on rhythm guitar and vocals, Kevin Clark on bass guitar and vocals, and Ivan Thurlow on drums and vocals. Both Kevin and Ivan have had time away from The Runaways playing with other bands (e.g. Omega and Shadoogie) but the line up in their 22nd year is that of 1982.
Gary and Tim had been best friends from an early age and took up guitar together. They loved nothing better than playing their favourite music from the Rock 'N' Roll era. Tim had a flair for imitating the singers while Gary was ably reproducing the guitar sounds. Since forming The Runaways the band members have been committed to producing a quality performance and are particularly renowned for their authentic representation of music from The Shadows, including the choreography!
