After a formal classical training, Steve went on to run one of the country’s most successful semi-pro function bands which was for over 25 years the resident band at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire. In the mid 90’s he decided to return from playing synthesizers etc. to his first love, the piano, and went away playing as a Lounge Pianist on board cruise ships for a number of years. Since returning to terra ferma in the late 90’s, Steve has built an enviable reputation as a performer at major venues and 5 star hotels throughout the South of England From the timeless classics of George Gershwin, Cole Porter etc. through to more modern artistes such as Elton John and Billy Joel, Steve has many hours of music to provide just the right atmosphere for your event.
