	Alexandra Boanas Alex is a soprano soloist for concerts, recitals, guest appearances, weddings and other occasions. She also teaches singing privately, and in local schools. Alex graduated from the University of Hull with a Masters Degree in Music Performance specialising in singing. Whist at University she studied in Leeds with Margaret McDonald and then with Sarah Rhodes whom she continues her vocal studies today. Theatre roles include: Jenny Lind, Barnum, Josephine, H.M.S Pinafore, Aline, The Sorcerer, Belinda, Dido and Aneas, Dido, Dido and Aneas, The Fairy Queen, Iolanthe, Rose Maybud, Ruddigore, Rosie, Sweet Charity, Jan and Cha Cha, Grease. Oratorio credits include: Mozart’s Mass in C, Prikofiev’s Alexander Nevsky, Orff’s, Carmina Burana, Alex has also performed as guest artist for a number of musical organisations including Hull Male Voice Choir and Hull Arterian Singers.
