Alexandra Boanas - Soprano and Wedding Singer
Alex is a soprano soloist for concerts, recitals, guest appearances, weddings and other occasions. She also teaches singing privately, and in local schools.
Alex graduated from the University of Hull with a Masters Degree in Music Performance specialising in singing. Whist at University she studied in Leeds with Margaret McDonald and then with Sarah Rhodes whom she continues her vocal studies today.
Theatre roles include: Jenny Lind, Barnum, Josephine, H.M.S Pinafore, Aline, The Sorcerer, Belinda, Dido and Aneas, Dido, Dido and Aneas, The Fairy Queen, Iolanthe, Rose Maybud, Ruddigore, Rosie, Sweet Charity, Jan and Cha Cha,
Grease.
Oratorio credits include: Mozart’s Mass in C, Prikofiev’s Alexander Nevsky, Orff’s, Carmina Burana, Alex has also performed as guest artist for a number of musical organisations including Hull Male Voice Choir and Hull Arterian Singers.

Claire Holdich - Soprano
Claire graduated from the University of Hull with a first class degree in Music in 2004, where she was also awarded the Departmental Prize for outstanding musical achievement. In 2005, Claire gained the diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in singing. As a performer, Claire has sung as a concert soloist with a number of local groups, including Hull Bach Choir, Hull Male Voice Choir and the Arterian Singers. Her operatic roles include Aline (The Sorcerer), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Iris (Semele), Electra (Idomeneo) with Leeds Youth Opera and, most recently, Polly Peachum (The Beggars Opera) with York Opera. Claire is currently teaching singing at Hull Collegiate School and Scarborough College, and hopes to continue her vocal studies to post graduate level in the near future.
