Mor Karbasi
Mor is a young singer and composer of mixed Persian and Moroccan heritage, that can be traced back to the exiled Jews of Spain -hence her passion for the Andalucian and Ladino styles.
She was born and raised in the vibrant country of Israel, and completed her compulsory army service as a member of a prestigious singing group. She has been based in London recently, and had worked hard at organizing and playing live gigs, and writing new material. Her usual shows are made up of Spanish guitar, and percussion, occasionally piano which she plays herself. Other special guest instrumentalists such as violin, cello and flute players have been incorporated whenever possible, to great effect.

Freddie has been a student at the University of Edinburgh for a year where he immediately got into the deep end in the city's musical culture. He played Tony in Edinburgh Footlights' production of 'West Side Story' in 2007 ("Freddie Blackett has a delightfully mellow voice, warm and easy to listen to..." **** (Edinburgh Evening News)) and has been heavily involved in the live music scene, playing acoustic soul and pop with Mike Shannon around the city. At school (Winchester College) he was lead male singer in the school's live band, 'Shagwagg', playing classic Motown and rock 'n roll hits. Due to his acting background, Freddie thrives on the performance side of singing and his passion is clear to see. However, this certainly does not detract from his singing as you can hear from a recording of one of last year's Shagwagg gigs

From a very early age I was introduced to the music of Elvis Presley as my mother is a big fan
I have sang Elvis songs for as long as I can remembe.r Although I can sing a wide variety of styles and artists Elvis has been the main influence in my life.
I started doing karaoke as soon as it became popular and was soon recognised as 'Elvis' .
I was spotted at a local pub and was given a contract to sing in a club in Tunisia.
I enjoyed this so much I decided to pursue a career in music.
On the 16th August last year I had the pleasure and honour of performing for BBC Coventry and Warwickshire radio station, a tribute to Elvis Presley for his 30th anniversary.
At the moment I am looking for a
promoter/sponsership to help me fulfil my ambition.
