Sarah Louise Ings
Sarah Louise Ings ensemble is a new and innovative group fusing jazz, classical and pop music. The ensemble includes Saxophone, Cello, Piano, drum kit and live effects.
This melting pot of musical genres creates an exciting new sound world. Their versatility and repertoire allows them to adapt themselves for children’s audiences and workshops to the more intellectual adult audience, performing in venues from schools to up and coming bars, nightclubs and music venues.
Sarah completed her degree at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2003, studying with Simon Haram, Christian Forshaw and Rob Buckland.
Sarah is a truly inspirational musician, interested in all styles of music from Medieval and folk music to Jazz and Pop. She has had numerous experiences playing with Guildhall Contemporary Big Band and Repertoire Big Band, having jazz lessons with Martin Hathaway and Malcom M
