Dolan and The Straight Shot – guitarist and chief songwriter, Bruce Koplow; bassist, Sue Williams; drummer, David Longworth and keyboardist, Jonny Rosch – put slow-burning blues jams together with ballads and tight rockers on NOTHING TO HIDE. Violence Reborn
Violence Reborn first came together under a different name (Violent Rebirth) in the winter of 2002. It was started by the band's current bass guitarist Viktor (Craig) in the town of Ogden, Utah. Times were calling for Viktor to bring something to Metal lovers that he thought was lacking in the music of the day. It seemed that there was not as much violence in the music when the band came about. The general idea at the time the band came together, and it still holds true this day, is bringing back everything music used to be. The lead guitar actually having leads, the bass not sticking to one note the whole song, drums that can play ballads or make a hummingbird look like its wings are slow, and vocals/lyrics that have a real meaning to touch the soul and inspire or frighten those who listen.
