Philo Beddoe were formed in 1997 by Paul McConnell (guitar/vocals) and Tommy Alexander (drums), after the split of two other popular Ayrshire bands (Ashan and New Breed). Shortly after this, Paul and tommy hooked up with bass player Mark O'Donnell and guitarist Colin Scott. All guys live in Ayr on the Scottish west coast where the music scene is practically non-existent due to the popularity of dance and cover bands (yukk!!). Anyway, since 1997, the lads have recorded five hi-quality stuio and live demos, played numerous powerful gigs, two music festivals and 3 "T-Break" finals
