La Strada
La Strada are a trio performing music from, and inspired by Eastern European music traditions. Gypsy tunes, klezmer dances and folk melodies are creatively arranged drawing in musical influences from jazz, classical, theatre and ethnic styles. Described by the press as 'Musicians of pure pedigree, sparkling with joie de vivre,' they manage to combine a contemporary twist with traditional music, virtuoso technique with colour and energy. Formed 7 years ago by violinist Gundula Gruen, La Strada have since developed into a truly unique act of the highest standard.
