Le Big Band Caravane is Ottawa-Gatineau's most exciting big band! The band, established in September 2002, is composed of a group of great musicians from around Ottawa and Hull, who are dedicated to putting the fun back into jazz music. Caravane, a 20-piece orchestra under the music direction of Mr. Kieran Milne, is made up of 5 saxophonists, 4 trombonists, 4 trumpeters, a pianist, a guitarist, a bassist, a drummer, a percussionist and a male and a female vocalist. It's music is a strong mix of big band dance music, soulful and hot vocals, and jazz standards. The band aims to bring to you live the fantastic dance feel, and the hits, of the last 50 years!
