Jazz Gitanes is a Hampshire based Gypsy Jazz style swing band. It comprises of a variety of band members ranging from two guitars with visiting violin, clarinet and double bass as and when circumstances permit. Their repertoire includes many of the great jazz standards from the '30s, '40s and '50s , bossa novas, ragtime and many of the compositions from the legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli. Jazz gitanes is managed by gypsy swing guitarist Pete 'Tiger' Sheppard.
