The Soul Travellers
The Soul Travellers are a 7-piece professional function band with a powerful male vocalist backed by a full horn section and a rock solid backdrop provided by the rhythm section. The band provides an excellent party atmosphere with a repertoire to suit any situation, playing classics from Stevie Wonder to Michael Jackson, and James Brown to Elvis Presley.
The band comprises of talented young musicians who have all been playing in professional function bands for many years and can therefore guarantee the audience will be kept on their feet all night.
For your more subdued needs, they also offer a jazz trio/quartet with an extensive repertoire to provide relaxed background music for during your meal or reception.

For dancing or just sitting and listening :We are an eight piece band : ”All That Jazz” comprising 4 horns (2 saxes/trumpet/trombone) and a 3 piece rhythm section with an occasional vocalist.
We play jazz, in a similar style to that played on Strictly Come Dancing on the BBC!! . The horns are not amplified (vocals, keyboard and the double bass is) and the music is loud enough to dance to but not so loud you have to shout to make yourself heard!!)
We play mostly big band jazz: (A Mixture of Swing and Latin as performed by: Glen Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Robbie Williams etc and a smattering of fifties/ sixties numbers in a rock and roll/jazz-rock or funk style.

is a entertainer that just happens to be a drummer.
When you hear him play, he immediately evokes memories of two of the greatest. . .
Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich.
Chad and his band the Chad Rager Groove are currently touring
in support of his first CD "21st Century Groove" with Strokeland Records .
The band is performing in large and small concert venues, corporate events,
and playing in high schools and colleges all across America
as a fundraiser for their music departments.

Having started the Year 2002 with Appearances @ the Jazz Cafe, Queen Elizabeth 2003 playing tracks from his debut CD TURBULENT TIMES, keeping the AFROBEAT torch burning! The eclectic cosmopolitan utilizes not only his first hand experience with Afrobeat’s Yoruba fundamentals; he also has lots of strong influences from funk, jazz and Latin grooves. He is equally sought after as writer, producer, record compilation curator (the fantastic ‘Essential Afrobeat’ 3CD mix), session heavy and – last but not least – heir of the live music throne!

The Jezebel Sextet
Great googa mooga! It’s the Jezebel Sextet rocking the the UK funk scene. Their sound is rooted in the classic 1970s street funk of The JBs,The Meters,The Fatback Band, and Gil Scott-Heron. But what sets them apart is their super heavyfunk originals originals, written and honed over nine years of playing live.

Brass Impact Big Band
Brass Impact! are one of Scotland’s most dynamic jazz ensembles, offering a unique presentation of big band jazz that is entirely new and exciting.
Our unique sound comes from the use of non-traditional big band instruments such as 'forward facing' baritones (providing the trombone voice) and the very distinctive mellophones, which produce a sound similar to that of the mellophoniums used by the Kenton Orchestra in the early 1960's.
Mixed cleverly with the more traditional trumpets and saxophones, the baritones and mellophones allow us to add that extra 'kick' to the big swing numbers, as well as a rich, warm and luscious sound for the most delicate of ballads and vocal arrangements.
Our unique brass sound is fused together with the drive and excitement of our 6 piece rhythm section, with vocalists Pat Keating and Iain Ewing adding the finishing touches to our presentation.
