GO KOMMANDO were formed in 2004 when all four members were drunk on a boat somewhere in the North Sea, the name for the band was made up on the spot and it was announced that “We Are Go Kommando and We Are Here To Rock!”, what followed was 20 minutes of lunacy and mayhem as the band blundered through a medley of Queen songs and a Slade number. From that moment on Go Kommando was born. With their own brand of music called NBR (Nowt But Rock) they made a return to the same boat trip a year later as the headlining act (Ok they were the only band playing). The band come inclusive of a lighting rig and a deceptively powerful 3kw PA rig, music can be also provided in between and after sets So that’s about it, Go Kommando rock!, they are Rock!
