With over 12 years experience and 100’s of references, they are proud to be recommended by some of the top venues in the UK. Nina's experience as backing vocalist for Dannii Minogue and Boyzone, coupled with Tim's superb keyboard skills ensures they always bring the house down. Not only a great sounding live band (with great lights too) but they also provide a fantastic disco in-between their live sets at no extra cost. They are clearly in a different league.

The Smokin' jackets are a Colchester based band available for weddings, private & corporate Functions.They cater for a wide age range with variety of different material, are smart, reliable and professional. They do not use pre-recorded backings or midifiles, they actually play their instruments. Quite rare these days! The Smokin' jackets feature drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals and have a self-contained DJ function and can meet any requirement (given sufficient notice). They also have a high quality sound system and have their own lighting rig. Finally they wWill learn songs to play at the wedding or function as required (given sufficient notice).

All of us are seasoned musicians having played in various bands over the years, often playing in the same bands at some time or another. However we decided to form our own band that we believe is a bit special and our aim is to be professional funsters offering top quality to our audience. We all use professional quality instruments and PA systems, with accompanying light show and DJ facilities ( if required). All our equipment is PAT tested and we all come with a full MOT as well!
