They do not use pre-recorded backings or midifiles, they actually play their instruments. Quite rare these days! The Smokin' jackets feature drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals and have a self-contained DJ function and can meet any requirement (given sufficient notice). the runaways
The Runaways were formed in 1982 with Gary Bryant on lead guitar, Tim Adams on rhythm guitar and vocals, Kevin Clark on bass guitar and vocals, and Ivan Thurlow on drums and vocals. Both Kevin and Ivan have had time away from The Runaways playing with other bands (e.g. Omega and Shadoogie) but the line up in their 22nd year is that of 1982.
Gary and Tim had been best friends from an early age and took up guitar together. They loved nothing better than playing their favourite music from the Rock 'N' Roll era. Tim had a flair for imitating the singers while Gary was ably reproducing the guitar sounds. Since forming The Runaways the band members have been committed to producing a quality performance and are particularly renowned for their authentic representation of music from The Shadows, including the choreography!

Glam Slam are a 70's glam rock nostalgia band, giving a 2-hour non-stop show of many favourite bands of the time - Sweet, Slade, Mud, Suzi Quatro to name but a few. We are at our best on themed nights but since we perform in costume we give a great night out for all - from corporate functions through birthday parties to weddings. Glam rock is music EVERYONE can enjoy regardless of musical taste. We can also supply a disco for a small additional charge.

Oxide's show can be formatted in several ways depending on your requirement. They will play any format up to 3 hours long. The band are able to provide a DJ on request but always bring CD's to play through their sound system between sets.
The set list is always being extended to include current songs. If you have a particular song that you would like played which isn’t in the set list, please let Oxide know a minimum of 6 weeks in advance.
