Darren Paul
Darren is a Theatre and Dance artist who has spent the majority of his life working within the performance field. He began his professional training in the North-East of England where he trained as an actor and dancer and was heavily involved in the promotion of theatre in education.
Darren moved to the South West of England to further his training at Dartington College of Arts studying for a degree in Theatre with Choreography.
Darren is currently directing his piece entitled Did Elvis Come from Bristol? which he hopes to take back to the North-East on tour in the autumn. Other projects include There’s no ‘I’ in ensemble, Edges and Hedges, Sentence and Twin Score Rules.
Darren has just finished working in Chester Zoo as part of this year’s family theatre attraction and most recently worked with choreographer Emilyn Claid on her latest project PocketSIZE.
