Krissie Turner's a Country singer based in Preston. Singing in various parts of the country with her style of country that meets most tastes.
She sings ballads and more rocky country with equal ease and mixes old and new to reach the different country listeners tastes.
Songs like Who wouldnt want to be me by Keith Urban or What colour is the wind by Charlie Landsborough. Or maybe you prefer Suds in the bucket, Closer or something more romantic 'If tomorrow never comes by Garth Brooks or older songs like Today I started loving you again, Roly or Seven Spanish Angels. Fat Cat Country Band
Welcome to Fat Cat.
We are mainly a country band playing old favourites and new hits – everything from Willie Nelson to Lonestar and Diamond Rio – along with self-penned material from our successful CDs. We do not cater for pop music oriented line dancers, but serious country fans of both line and western dance will find much to please them in our set, along with solid harmonies and plenty of fun.
For a themed evening, we can dress the venue with flags etc., and teach a few line dances, with prizes for the best, the worst and the funniest dancer. We can also book a line dance teacher for the night, or add a dance troupe.
The basic Fat Cat line-up is a three-piece (lead, K/boards and bass guitars) using drum tracks recorded by ourselves. For the larger venue or budget we have a backing band of guitar,2 X female backing vocals, drums, and pedal steel guitar.
