Chris Proctor is 21 years old and currently studying Jazz Saxophone on the Bmus (Hons) Jazz Course at the Birmingham City University Conservatoire of Music. Chris is a member of the Conservatoire’s Jazz Orchestra and has had the pleasure of performing alongside Michael Gibbs, Christine Tobin, Gerard Presencer and Hans Koller. He can also frequently be seen as a sideman in may other music projects. Chris' other commitments include regular work with all funked up and several other bands in the West Midlands as a deputising musician. In the future, Chris aspires to be a professional musician, using his excellent reading ability to work in the West End, Broadway and in various session situations. As a member of the Musician's Union, Chris has public liability insurance, and can travel all over the UK for work.
