The Cab is located in Edinburgh’s old town, at the heart of the buzzing area where the Guilded Balloon once stood. The primary aim of the venue is to give the capital a real alternative to the tired, old DJ-worshipping club formula of the Nineties, opting instead for a mixed, multimedia programme of live acts and DJs (playing both acoustic and electronic music), theatre, comedy, art, visual projections (video and slide) and spoken word.
