Welcome to the full and funky sound of BIG NIGHT OUT; an eight piece outfit of funky musicians from Bristol. Drawing their influences from a wide range of music, primarily soul and funk, the band have been playing in different guises for some 16 years. Until 1996 to the recent changes the band have introduced local professional session players of the highest quality. With a two hour live set comprising of a variety of influences such as Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power and James Brown. Henry Ray on lead vocals provides the band with a perfect frontman; a powerful voice with and incredible range. Having been compared to James Brown and Terence Trent D’arby the native American has huge talent that should not be missed.
