The Smokin' jackets are a Colchester based band available for weddings, private & corporate Functions.They cater for a wide age range with variety of different material, are smart, reliable and professional. They do not use pre-recorded backings or midifiles, they actually play their instruments. Quite rare these days! The Smokin' jackets feature drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals and have a self-contained DJ function and can meet any requirement (given sufficient notice). The trio features jazz guitarist Mike Miller, with Roy Dalpra double bass and Nick Monnas drums.

Fat Cat Country Band
Welcome to Fat Cat.
We are mainly a country band playing old favourites and new hits – everything from Willie Nelson to Lonestar and Diamond Rio – along with self-penned material from our successful CDs. We do not cater for pop music oriented line dancers, but serious country fans of both line and western dance will find much to please them in our set, along with solid harmonies and plenty of fun.
For a themed evening, we can dress the venue with flags etc., and teach a few line dances, with prizes for the best, the worst and the funniest dancer. We can also book a line dance teacher for the night, or add a dance troupe.
The basic Fat Cat line-up is a three-piece (lead, K/boards and bass guitars) using drum tracks recorded by ourselves. For the larger venue or budget we have a backing band of guitar,2 X female backing vocals, drums, and pedal steel guitar.

Jazz Gitanes
Jazz Gitanes is a Hampshire based Gypsy Jazz style swing band. It comprises of a variety of band members ranging from two guitars with visiting violin, clarinet and double bass as and when circumstances permit. Their repertoire includes many of the great jazz standards from the '30s, '40s and '50s , bossa novas, ragtime and many of the compositions from the legendary jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli.
Jazz gitanes is managed by gypsy swing guitarist Pete 'Tiger' Sheppard.

Our playlist extends from Santana / Van Morrison / Dire Straits / ZZ Top / Cockney Rebel to Guns & Roses / Deep Purple / Aerosmith, which in itself shows diversity and suitability of material for all the functions / weddings / birthdays / clubs and pubs played.
The show can also include professional stage lighting, background and/or disco music during intervals and also include other bands to make an event.

Formed in 1998, Rubber Soul are a professional and flexible group of qualified musicians offering a wide range of music for all types of event.
The ensemble have a wealth of performing experience both together, and as individuals - supporting acts such as Corduroy and The Brand New Heavies and recording at the world famous Abbey Road Studios (London).
The ensemble itself comprises 9 members (Male Vocal, Female Vocal, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Trumpet, Saxophone & Trombone) although an 11 piece version is commonly used depending on the size and nature of the event and venue.
Performing throughout the country, Rubber Soul has established itself as a reputable group that prefers to work direct with individual clients, giving more flexibility to the client and making the band adaptable to any event or function.
