Austin Gunn
International operatic tenor Austin Gunn made his professional operatic debut in the Edinburgh International Festival as ‘Vorsinger’ in Mozart’s ‘Zaide’ with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Sir Charles Mackerras. Austin performs frequently in opera, oratorio and song at venues including Saddlers Wells Theatre, The Barbican, Birmingham Symphony Hall, St John’s, Smith Square, Kensington Palace, and in the Edinburgh International Festival at the Usher Hall and the Royal Lyceum Theatre with conductors and ensembles including Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir David Wilcocks, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Leeds Philharmonic Society, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Milton Keynes City Orchestra, Melrose Symphony Orchestra, Airedale Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of Scottish Opera.
