Ashley-John Long
Virtuoso double bassist and composer Ashley-John Long works in a diverse range of musical idioms: specialising in early and contemporary chamber music, jazz, improvisation as well as working extensively as a soloist with a focus contemporary repertoire. Past and current work includes Keith Tippett quartet, Chamber Orchestra of Wales, Millenium Ensemble, The I.S.G, Autopiesis and the Heavy Quartet. He also leads his own ensembles of varying styles.
