Abigail Burrows
Abigail Burrows was a scholarship student at The Purcell School of Music for 9 years and went on to study at The Royal College of Music in 2000. She has performed as a soloist at The Royal Festival Hall, in a private concert for Prince Charles, on Classic FM, the BBC World Service, BBC1 and the Norwegian Network (filmed in Oslo). She is a regular solo performer for various concert series across the UK and has toured Germany and Russia. With various ensembles she has performed at the Wigmore Hall, Blackheath Concert Halls, Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Edinburgh Festival and Bach's Church (Thomas Kirche) in Leipzig, Germany.
Abigail also works as an orchestral dep, session musician and flute teacher, and is part of the Anearesis Contemporary Ensemble and Fuego Flute Duo.
She is also a children's writer and has a regular feature in Flutewise.
