Simon is teaching trumpet & trombone at Belvedere College in Dublin and is working as a freelance musician with various orchestras and production companies. He is doing extra work with the RTE Concert Orchestra, RTE Big Band, and the Ulster Orchestra, and works on a freelance basis with Joseph Lloyd Productions Ltd., with the Orchestra of St Cecilia, and with Irish Film Orchestras Ltd.. Simon plays a variety of different styles, from classical symphonic concerts and recording sessions, to operas, weddings, musical theatre, TV shows, and pop concerts. He was involved in programmes for RTE Radio 1 and RTE LyricFM, and has had the pleasure to perform with such outstanding artists as Lance Ellington and Sinead O'Connor.
